Is it Too Late to Get My Ex Back?

The hardest point to deal with after a breakup is wondering if you can get your ex back. Whether or not your ex has found a rebound of if he just doesn’t seem to want to be with anyone again, you’re going to wonder when to step in, how to step in, and what to do when you do get to step in.

For reassurance sake, most relationships are salvageable no matter what. All sorts of problems have been overcome in relationships and breakups. It’s just a matter of having the right combination of you working and him not resisting. That doesn’t mean if he resists you get to push until he breaks but depending on how you go about with your efforts of getting him back will depend on how much he resists. Basically the only thing holding back your chances of getting your ex back is if you don’t try.

When to step in the game again is important. While there isn’t exactly a timer that’s going to make a bomb explode, there are moments when it’s either too late or too early. Of course there are off the wall examples of people getting back together after fourteen years of separation, though that’s generally not the case. Each circumstance is different but in a general standing a month of waiting time is sufficient before attempting to get back with an ex.

If, however, your ex gets in another relationship, don’t become petty and try to break anything up. Ultimately your goal should be to make your ex happy and if he’s happy in a new relationship with someone else, you should be happy for him and move on just like he did. Take it in good stride because that will make an impression on your ex, too. You might be the one that can comfort him if his new relationship doesn’t work out (though don’t sit and wait around for that to happen).

Generally, those cases are rare and you’re still going to have a chance to win your ex back. By acting accordingly, you’re going to get the chance to have another round of happiness with your ex.
